A set of animated vignettes built for a night of elegance and glamorous chaos.

galentines

Galentines is an annual Baltimore event hosted by luxury wedding photographer Nikki Daskalakis alongside planner Elizabeth Gopal of East Made Co. The evening brings together leaders from the wedding industry for a celebration that blends polish with playful irreverence.

For a past edition, I created a series of looping animations featured on the invitation and incorporated into video footage displayed throughout the venue. Each vignette dismantled a floral still life in its own surreal way. One was consumed by fire, another burst with overripe fruit, and a third was overtaken by a creeping silver sheen. Layered motion and shifting perspective gave the pieces a cinematic presence while preserving a hand-drawn sensibility.
